Canonical discontinue Ubuntu One Notes Service


Canonical started the Ubuntu One Note Service to help the users sync the tomboy notes with the Ubuntu One Notes service.But as per Canonical,they have made some huge investments in new data sync infrastructure.And thus they have decided to remove the service from Ubuntu One.As per  the blog ,they are planning to stop syncing and transferring notes to the computer by the end of February 2013.

They have requested the users to stop  syncing the tomboy notes with the Ubuntu One.Ubuntu do consider the service worthy to the user is working with Tomboy to support the users to sync the tomboy notes with the new Ubuntu sync infrastructure.

If the users want to get back their notes,then they have to follow one of the two manual methods to get the notes back,because Ubuntu server crashed a day after the announcement deleting all the notes
