Citi warns about “Secure Message”


You have received a secure message from Citibank.What will you do? Of course, you will open to check what the message is about.That’s the catch,a new malware was found sending the fake “secure messages”. The message asks the customer to download the file and  open it with internet explorer.The link looks legitimate but the downloaded software opens a backdoor to steal the users personal information.

Citibank has warned its users to not open such emails.And if anyone opened it ,then should run a thorough antivirus scan.If some  user has downloaded this software and performed any banking transaction,then they are advised to call the bank immediately and change the account password.
