Hackers seemed to have got active at various parts of the world.Last week, the hackers breached the Yahoo Xtra email service hosted in Sydney. This was followed by spam flood and phishing attack .Hackers also seemed to have downloaded users emails and Address Book, though this has not been confirmed by Yahoo .

Yahoo is the Telecom email carrier service and gives Xtra email service to Telecom users.Last week, hackers attacked Yahoo and spammed the Xtra service users .This made Telecom to cancel 75,000 email user’s passwords which has been identified to be the potential victims of the attack. This is being done to prevent data from being accessed by attackers from hacked accounts.Telecom has also requested users to change the password and not to wait for notifications.
