Bill Gates is not satisfied with the Microsoft innovations


Bill Gates is always considered a man of innovations but the current Windows 8 OS and mobile platform has seem to put him in rethinking the current Microsoft strategy.CBS interviewed Bill Gates who open-heartedly accepted that he is not satisfied with the innovations. His views were clear about Steve Ballmer, “Well, he and I are two of the most self-critical people — you can imagine. And here were a lot of amazing things that Steve’s leadership got done with the company in the last year. Windows 8 is key to the future, the Surface computer. Bing, people are seeing as a better search product, Xbox.” was the Bill Gates reply.

“But is — is it enough?” he said. “No, he and I are not satisfied that in terms of, you know, breakthrough things, that we’re doing everything possible.”He also admitted the Microsoft’s  slow approach to the mobile market in the past and said “We didn’t miss cell phones, but the way that we went about it didn’t allow us to get the leadership. So it’s clearly a mistake.” A must watch interview for anyone who loves or hates Microsoft.
