Chrome,Java,IE and Firefox hacked at Pwn2Own


The annual Pwn2Own contest kicked off with the exploit of Java zero day vulnerability,making it favorite among the hackers.The flaw was hacked three times by the hackers bringing down the browsers.Currently hosted in Vancouver,the competition was begun in 2007 to get hackers on common platform to show their skills for big cash. The contest saw some real test of the security features of the browser.Though every browser boasts about being secure than the other,but the competition showed some interesting results.

Vupen hacked IE10 on windows 8 , Firefox and Java on Windows 7. MWR infoSecurity hacked Google chrome using the two zero day flaws on windows 7 .The Chrome is still considered to be the tough to hack and Java is the easiest due to lack of sandbox feature which makes Chrome more secure.
