Google has launched a service which may not go well with most of the sensitive google users because of its name. But the new service will definitely give a piece of mind to those who are always concerned about their data.
And don’t know what to do with it once they have stopped using the service indefinitely. This has lead to a launch of new feature by Google which could put an end to the question of users’ data past digital life.
The new Inactive account manager can help such users. The new feature sits in the Google account settings page and if you want to stop using the service, then you can select the option the way you want to manage your data.
Google gives you some options like
- You can choose to delete the data after specific time say 3,6,9 or 12 months.
- Or you can choose to send the part or whole of a data to your trusted contact.
It includes the data of the services google+; Blogger; Contacts and Circles; Drive; Gmail; Google+ Profiles, Pages and Streams; Picasa Web Albums; Google Voice and YouTube.
Google will send a message to your registered mobile number before sending data to your trusted contact.
The service which I think everyone was asking is a boon for those who take online privacy seriously.
