WWDC offering free tickets for students

As per the tradition of WWDC, Apple has announced that it will be awarding free tickets to the students under Student scholarship . They are providing 150 free tickets to the eligible students for WWDC 2013 to take place on 10-14 June 2013 at Moscone West, San Francisco.

To participate the student needs to be

  • At least 13 year old studying in school
  •  a current paid member of the iOS Developer Program, iOS Developer University Program, iOS Developer Enterprise Program, or Mac Developer Program.

Document to be submitted 

Proof of enrollment from your school with your application.

App to be submitted

  • app should highlight development projects you’ve worked on, your educational background, technical skills and interests, and any other information you might include as part of your resumé or CV.
  • app must be a native iOS app or Mac app written in Objective-C and signed with a signing certificate issued to you as part of your Apple Developer Program membership.

The application process for the Student Scholarship will begin on 29th April at 9 a.m. PDT and should be submitted by 2nd May 5 p.m. PDT. The successful candidates should get notification by 16th May.The application overview can be checked on Apple WWDC site
