Today, Google has announced the rumored Google Play Music service at Google I/O. The new music service announced by Google is a subscription based service.
Google, explaining the service said,
You can create a radio station from any song or artist you love, browse recommendations from our expert music team or explore by genre.
The new service allows you to add your songs to the Music service and works from the cloud, so it can be accessed from any Google Music supported device. And supports the storing of up to 20,000 songs in cloud storage. The new service will be launched by June 30 at the trial rate of $7.99 while the regular subscribers will be charged $9.99 every month.
